Alternative Arrangement

• The service is still open and you may bring your little one to our childminding centre and Tampines East CC.
• Or EduNanny will attempt to assign a qualified home-based nanny nearby  who meets our screening and training standards. Edunanny will look for an alternative childminder home.
• Parents will be informed in advance once a replacement is confirmed.

To protect the health and well-being of all infants and childminders, EduNanny practices a strict No Sick Child Policy.

Infants must remain at home if they exhibit any of the following symptoms:

• Fever (37.5°C and above)

• Diarrhea

• Vomiting

• Persistent cough

• Runny nose with green or yellow mucus

• Active contagious conditions (e.g. HFMD, COVID-19, conjunctivitis, etc.)

• Have been given fever medication before drop-off to suppress symptoms

We recommend home rest for infants who are unwell. This ensures the care environment remains safe and healthy for all children and caregivers.

If a child becomes unwell during care hours:

• Parents will be contacted immediately.

• Prompt pick-up will be required.

A medical certificate confirming fitness for return may be required for certain illnesses.

For safety reasons, nannies are not permitted to administer any medication.

This includes:

• Oral medication (e.g. paracetamol, antibiotics)

• Topical creams or medicated ointments

• Supplements or traditional remedies

If your child requires medication during the day, they must remain at home until recovery.

If your child becomes unwell during the day, such as exhibiting symptoms like fever, diarrhea, or vomiting:

• We will contact you immediately to arrange for pick-up.
• Your child will be safely cared for in a designated area away from other infants to minimize the risk of exposure.
• If diagnosed with a communicable illness (e.g., HFMD or COVID-19), a medical certificate confirming full recovery is required for re-admission.

For your child’s safety and comfort:

• Children who receive the rotavirus vaccination (1st & 2nd Dose)  must rest at home for a minimum of 3 days before returning to care.
• This is to monitor for potential side effects such as fever, diarrhea, or discomfort.

No medication will be administered during this period or upon return to care.

Vaccination records must be submitted during enrollment and updated accordingly.

Children must be medically fit to attend care after receiving vaccinations.

Post-Vaccination Rest Policy

Can  I bring frozen breast milk or formula for feeding?

• Frozen breast milk and formula are accepted.
• All bottles must be clearly labeled with your child’s name, date, and time of expression. 
• Any milk left unused after 1 hour of warming will be safely discarded.

Yes, but only authorized individuals listed on the “Authorized Persons to Fetch Child” form.
If someone not listed needs to fetch your child, you must:
