Payments, visits and enrolment
What is the difference between subscription and day-use care?
Subscription care is an enrolment with guaranteed placement until your infant turns 18 months old, under the agreed care plan and enrolment terms. A S$1,000 security deposit applies.
Day-use / ad hoc care is booked for the dates you need, subject to availability. No deposit is required, and it does not reserve an ongoing place.
Both options are available in agreed 5-hour or 10-hour care blocks.
What deposit and payment arrangements apply?
Subscription: a refundable S$1,000 security deposit is required on enrolment, payable by bank transfer or PayNow. It is returned when your child graduates at 18 months, subject to the enrolment terms.
Day-use / ad hoc: no deposit is required. Care must be confirmed for the requested dates and remains subject to availability.
Service-fee payments can be made through CDA for eligible fees, credit or debit card, or PayNow. Our team will confirm payment instructions for your arrangement.
Can I use my Child Development Account (CDA)?
CDA funds can be used for eligible ECDA pilot service fees, subject to your child’s eligibility and available account balance. CDA funds can include the First Step Grant, your savings and eligible Government co-matching contributions.
The subscription security deposit is paid separately by bank transfer or PayNow. CDA eligibility for pilot fees does not extend automatically to other EduNanny services.
What are the subscription withdrawal and refund terms?
The subscription contract runs until your infant turns 18 months old. Early withdrawal incurs S$200 for each remaining contract month.
- With one month’s notice, the S$1,000 deposit can offset the cancellation fee; any remaining balance must be paid.
- Without notice, the deposit is forfeited and the full cancellation fee remains payable.
- Calculation: S$200 × remaining contract months until your child turns 18 months old.
In special circumstances, a fee waiver may be considered, subject to review and approval. Read these terms with your enrolment agreement. Day-use bookings follow the terms confirmed for that booking.
Can I change between 5-hour and 10-hour care?
You may request a change, subject to availability and approval. Upgrades are possible when capacity permits, with revised fees from the next billing cycle or an agreed start date. Downgrades should be arranged at the end of a billing cycle and take effect from the following cycle after notice.
A 10-hour place is not guaranteed if you later wish to switch back. Submit your request through the EduNanny App or contact our concierge at +65 8809 0777 so the change can be documented.
What happens if I need care beyond the agreed block?
Please contact the team before extending care. Care beyond the allocated block may be charged as a full 10-hour day. Care after 7pm may incur S$15 per 30-minute block. Any extended arrangement, availability and charges must be confirmed with EduNanny.
Can we visit, meet the childminder or arrange a trial?
Parents are encouraged to meet the childminder and visit the home or community setting before deciding. For subscription enrolment, a 5-day trial can be arranged after the visit, subject to availability and the agreed trial terms.
Following the trial, the full subscription contract begins and runs until your infant turns 18 months old. Confirm the visit, trial, fees and enrolment details with our team.
Daily care, safety and communication
What happens if my childminder is unexpectedly unavailable?
We will discuss an alternative arrangement, which may include our Tampines East CC setting or another qualified home-based childminder nearby. We will inform you when a replacement is confirmed. Contact the team before bringing your infant to a different care location so the arrangement can be agreed.
Can my infant attend when unwell?
Our pilot care follows a No Sick Child Policy. Infants must rest at home if they have any of the following:
- Fever of 37.5°C or above.
- Diarrhoea or vomiting.
- A persistent cough, or a runny nose with green or yellow mucus.
- An active contagious condition, such as HFMD, COVID-19 or conjunctivitis.
- Fever medication given before drop-off to suppress symptoms.
If your infant becomes unwell during care, we will contact you promptly for collection and care for them away from other infants where appropriate. A medical certificate confirming recovery is required for re-admission after a diagnosed communicable illness and may be requested for other illnesses.
Can the childminder give medication?
Under our pilot care policy, childminders do not administer medication. This includes oral medicines, medicated creams or ointments, supplements and traditional remedies. If your infant needs medication during the care day, they must remain at home until recovery. Discuss the care arrangement with the team if you are unsure.
What are your vaccination and return-to-care requirements?
Submit vaccination records during enrolment and keep them updated. Your infant must be medically fit and symptom-free before returning to care.
EduNanny’s pilot attendance policy requires at least three days of rest at home after rotavirus vaccination, including the first and second doses. No medication is administered during care. This is our service attendance policy; discuss your infant’s health or vaccination concerns with their healthcare professional.
Are meals provided, and can we bring breast milk or formula?
Tampines East CC: complimentary meals are provided for infants eating solids. Meals are Halal and prepared according to Health Promotion Board guidelines. Parents with specific dietary preferences provide their child’s food.
Home-based care: meal arrangements are agreed with the childminder; parents generally provide food.
Frozen breast milk and formula are accepted. Label bottles with your child’s name and the relevant date and time of expression for breast milk. Under our care policy, milk left unused one hour after warming is discarded. Share allergies and feeding instructions before care begins.
Who may collect my infant?
Only people listed on the Authorised Persons to Fetch Child form may collect your infant. If someone else needs to collect them, inform us in writing beforehand and ensure that person presents valid physical or digital identification for verification.
Can my infant be taken out during pilot care?
Infants remain within the agreed home or community care environment during service hours. Childminders are not permitted to take them out for park visits or errands under our pilot care policy.
How do we communicate about daily care or schedule changes?
Use your baby group chat and the EduNanny care platform for daily updates, attendance, routine communication, same-day changes and late pick-up notices. Follow the contact process agreed at enrolment for urgent care matters.
